Liz +Jared’s Fourth of July Backyard Wedding

 In Weddings

Wow did these two have a Fourth of July dream wedding! Despite covid-19, Liz and Jared kept their original wedding date and had a backyard wedding.

Being a ‘Corona Bride’ is not easy. COVID-19 tried it’s hardest, but in the end, true love wins.

Liz and Jared’s wedding may have changed ceremony and reception location, but everything else stayed the same. Liz got ready with all of her bridesmaids at her MOH’s house. Larissa Lake & Co. was finishing up Liz’s makeup when Susie arrived at the house. Liz got into her dress and shoes from David’s Bridal, and grabbed her flowers that came from Etsy

Liz and her girls made their way to the Swing Bridge in East Haddam, CT for the first look. Jared was already on the bridge, patiently waiting for his beautiful bride. It was an absolutely adorable first look– these two are the cutest!! At the bridge, Susie and Kari photographed families, wedding party, and of course the bride and groom together! Even though it was pretty hot, there was enough shade for everyone.

After photographs, everyone made their way to the backyard ceremony and reception location. Liz and Jared tied the knot, and were able to dance the night away thanks to Local Motion. With a backyard wedding they were able to not only dance, eat, drink–but also have yard games which was a big hit for their guests!

Congrats Liz and Jared!! It was an absolute pleasure photographing your beautiful backyard wedding!

Liz, i really like your choice of a Red,White & Blue shaw. Beautiful! I also like the fact that yer new hubby knows how to ride a stick pony (to cool). Tell him that makes him alright in my book. Congrats & happy trails to you both.
