Chris + Gianna’s Wedding at Saint Clement’s Castle in Portland Connecticut

 In Weddings

Being in the military, Chris likes structure– everything prompt. To ensure everything ran smoothly, he hired Wedding Couture by Netmartin. It is important for any wedding to have a wedding photographer that is on time, sticks to the timeline, and produces stunning images and memories for the bride and groom.

Giana’s wedding morning began at her parent’s home with all of her bridesmaids, parents, and of course her beloved doggie! When we arrived at the house, her hair and makeup styled by Station One Hair Salon was already finished. We took some quick robe pictures with her bridesmaids (and dog!) and it was time for Giana to get into her wedding dress from April Rose! After some more gorgeous images, everyone in the house jumped into the Premier Limousine and headed for the first look at Saint Clements Castle in Portland CT.

Chris was waiting patiently in his military uniform for his gorgeous bride to tap him on the shoulder. It was a beautiful moment when Chris saw Giana for the first time. The entire wedding party and families were watching this intimate moment take place. We photographed family, wedding party, and the bride and groom all over the gorgeous grounds of Saint Clements Castle. As the sun began to go down, it was time to hop into the Premier Limousine once again to head for the ceremony at St. Sebastian Church in Middletown CT.

Once we arrive at St. Sebastian Church, we quickly photographed even more images of Giana and Chris before guests began arriving. It was a beautiful catholic ceremony followed by a receiving line where the couple was able to say hello to all of the guests before making their way to the reception at Saint Clements Castle.

Once arriving at the venue, DJ Jeff Ladd was already playing live saxophone music for the guests at the cocktail hour! After that, he introduced the bride and groom and wedding party. Giana and Chris shared their beautiful first dance as husband and wife and immediately after had a polish tradition — a bread and wine ceremony.

Giana and Chris had a full day, and with proper planning, and sticking to a schedule was the only reason why everything went so smoothly for this couple! What a wonderful day filled with lots of memories for these two!
